If you’re a user of Spaces on OS X, you’re no doubt frustrated at times by having to drag windows around from space to space.
Here’s a real quick shortcut sure to save you a few milliseconds…
- Activate Spaces with your preferred shortcut. Mine is the middle mouse button, or F8.
- Now, activate Expose with the keyboard shortcut. Mine is F9.
- ????
- PROFIT!!
Now you can drag the tiny windows from one space to the next, regardless of what app you had in the forefront in that space.
I find this useful because I frequently run apps in full screen, such as Mail, iCal, and OmniFocus, and it’s incredibly irritating to have to move apps behind the full windows one-by-one to another space.
If you have a Mac QuickTip, let it out in the comments…
